About Me

My career in antiques comes from a family heritage starting in London’s East End. I cultivated a passion for beautifully crafted quality objects and furniture, that has never left me. As well as dealing in the antiques world for thirty years, I also studied visual arts at the Victoria and Albert Museum. I believe this experience and knowledge gives me a skilled eye for detail and spotting quality pieces.

So why did I decide to become a personal antiques shopper? Alongside my dealings, I began to receive commissions to source antiques for private clients and interior designers. Parallel to London's transition into the world's unofficial capital city, a new unforeseen development began to occur. With my intimate knowledge of London's myriad of antique dealers, I found myself being increasingly requested by overseas visitors and dealers to be their personal antiques guide. These growing demands have guided me to embark on this as a full time profession.

I work completely independently. My main desire is to create a wonderful and memorable experience that caters to the tastes, budget and requirements of each of my clients. Each client is treated as an individual, therefore emphasis is on a bespoke, personal and discreet service. Whether your interest lies in Chinese artefacts, bronzes, English silver or maybe good quality French/English 19th century furniture, or whether you are a dealer, serious collector or first time buyer, I look forward to assisting you.
